NEW DELHI, May 25: Freight rates for 10-tonne load for select destinations rose by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today on increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks.
Transporters said increased cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up select destinations freight rates.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Ludhiana were up b Rs 500 each to Rs 15,500, Rs 17,500 and Rs 18,500, respectively.
