NEW DELHI, Apr 27: Freight rates for ten-tonne load improved by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks amid rising cargo movements.
Transporters said busy cargo movements and less position of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates.
Delhi to Patna, Mumbai and Pondicherry rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 26,000, Rs 27,000 and Rs 68,000.
Rates to Mysore and Banglore also went up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 66,000 and Rs 62,000.
