NEW DELHI, Nov 24: Freight rates for 10-tonne load for select southern centres declined by Rs 500 in the local truck transport market today following ample position of trucks amid tight movements of cargo.
Transporters said easy position of trucks in the markets along with less cargo movements, mainly pulled down freights.
Delhi to Kanpur, Indore and Ahmedabad rates moved down by Rs 500 each to Rs 18,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 22,000, respectively.
Rates to Patana and Surates also enquired lower by Rs 500 each at Rs 28,000 and Rs 26,000, respectively.
