Fresh batch of 2,125 yatris leave for Amaranth from Jammu

JAMMU : A fresh batch of Amarnath pilgrims today left for the cave shrine from the Bhagwati Nagar based Yatri Niwas base camp here.
“A total of 2,125 pilgrims comprising 1,511 males, 491 females, 23 children, 93 sadhus and seven sadhvis left for the Amarnath cave shrine this morning in a convoy of 48 vehicles including 26 SRTC buses, two private and 20 Light Motor Vehicles,” official sources here said. The first bus left the base camp at 0420 hrs while the last bus left at 0445 hrs.
