SRINAGAR : A fresh encounter ensued in south Kashmir after today militants attacked a patrol party, injuring a jawan, official sources said here.
They said the patrol party was attacked by militants at Imam Sahib in south Kashmir district of Shopian.
Security forces also retaliated, ensuing an encounter, they said, adding that the area was further cordoned off an reinforcement rushed from nearby camps.
