JAMMU, Aug 10: Tehsil Thathri Development Front, district Doda has appealed to take cognizance of highhandedness and audacity of few individuals of Jamala and Gallu with some survey official of PMGSY who brazenly challenge the authority of SDM regarding the survey of Kahara-Jai road.
Addressing a press conference, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, president, Tehsil Thathri Development Front, demanded immediate action against the erring officers to redress the grievances of the people by deputing a fresh special team along with some higher officers for physical verification of Kahara-Jai road or otherwise general public will lose its confidence in judiciary and executive, which may lead the public towards lawlessness.
He urged the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary that despite High Court’s direction to stop any work on Kahara-Jai road the AEE and AE of PMGSY Thathri have conducted survey from Halaran to Upper Joura (Joura Khurd) flouting the court verdict and all norms and also verbal instructions of Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad thus challenging the authority of Union Health Minister.
Others present in the press conference were Om Parkash, Jagopal, Rakesh Kumar and Subash Chander.
