Fresh snowfall in Kashmir, schools closed for two day, NH closed

Srinagar March 10:

Kashmir valley today received fresh snowfall of the season forcing administration to close the school across the region.

 

Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Shalindra Kumar, said here that the Primary and Middle schools across Kashmir have been closed for two days due to fresh snowfall.

Srinagar received 2 inches snowfall while North Kashmir received 4 inches of snow.

Srinagar-Jammu National Highway has been closed for traffic due to snowfall and rains that triggered mud slides in Panthal area. Border Roads Organization has started clearance of snow from Banihal and Patnitop and are also clearing mud slides in Panthal.
