Friends Dancing Institute organizes ‘Talent 2013’

JAMMU, Dec 15: Friends Dancing Institute, Bakshi Nagar organized “Talent 2013” a solo dance competition in the auditorium of Government Polytechnic College, here today.
On the occasion, president, J&K Democratic Front, Anil Gupta was the chief guest while as Director Heritage and Joint Director Information Soujanya Sharma was the guest of honour.
During the competition, 120 children participated in various age groups and mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performances.
Anil Gupta said that this will go a long way in the search of talent and help children to get exposure in life.
Speaking on the occasion, Soujanya Sharma congratulated the organizers for providing a platform to the budding talent of the State and said that such events help to explore and nurture the hidden talent of the youth.
He said that such events help to build confidence in children and help them overcome their shyness and face the challenges in life with poise.
The competition was held in three categories–sub juniors, juniors and senior categories. First, second and third prizes were given in all three categories.
