JAMMU, May 5: Former Minister and senior Congress leader, Raman Bhalla claimed that frightening pictures coming from hospitals are exposing tall claims of BJP Government in handling COVID-19 crisis in J&K.
He said that BJP Government did nothing when experts were warning severe second wave and questioned the work being done by the LG administration.
The said that in some cases, entire families are COVID positive and no one is there to take care of them.
In a handout, Bhalla claimed that there is no proper supply of oxygen and no beds in hospitals and hundreds of people are dying due to mismanagement and BJP Government is responsible for all this.
He also said that entire world is shaken by what is happening here and claimed that the COVID situation has completely gone out of control.
“They ignored rising cases and remained busy in election campaigns,” the Congress leader said.
He said tens of thousands of poor people have lost their livelihood due to the lockdown.
“While the people of J&K and Corona warriors followed Government guidelines, the Government showed negligence due to which J&K is facing a crisis. Experts are of the view that mass gatherings become super spreader events,” he maintained adding that the nation is paying a very heavy price for unpreparedness of NDA Government to tackle the disaster that has hit the country and has affected millions of families.
