JAMMU, Dec 18: BJP State spokesperson & State Election Media Incharge, Arun Kumar Gupta, while reacting to the statement of Chief Minister & Working President of National Conference Omar Abdullah that he is confident of forming new Government, said that he seems to be day dreaming as his party is not going to reach even double figure, in the Assembly elections. In a statement issued here today, he said that false statements and high claims of development are not going to help Omar and NC in these elections. Gupta said “Omar should not forget that the vote share of his party has reduced after every Assembly Election and people are already in great anger for leaving them at the mercy of God in the dreadful situation of floods that ruined everything in the Valley.
He said that Omar Abdullah is trying to guard his political heritage but won’t succeed. He said that Omar Abdullah has failed to come to the expectations of the people as a Chief Minister and he won’t be able to save even his party from the total defeat. Omar Abdullah did nothing when he was the Chief Minister of the State and every citizen knows that J&K still lack basic facilities related to health, education, employment, road connectivity etc. High claims of development by Omar Abdullah are white lies and mere eyewash. On what grounds Omar is confident of forming government as he did nothing for the people, except looting the exchequer of the State during last six years, he added.
Gupta said that the leaders of NC were least interested in the development of the State and bothered only about their vested interests. Omar is frustrated as he can read the writing on the wall that he and his party will get total defeat in these elections. Gupta asked that if Omar was so confident about the victory of his party, then what forced him to shuffle his seat from Ganderbal to Beerwah. He said that BJP is the only party which will win the absolute majority in ongoing elections as people of J&K are in full support of our development agenda that other parties failed to do in past 67 years.
