JAMMU, Aug 29: A delegation from the Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII), led by its National president Dr Sanjay Bansal, today met new Municipal Commissioner of Jammu, Dr Devansh Yadav and discuss various key issues related to the ongoing and future development projects in Jammu.
The del egation, comprising prominent members of FTII, including Sandeep Mengi, Sanjeev Aggarwal, Sudhir Mittal, and Ashwini Goswami, engaged in a fruitful dialogue with Dr Yadav. The discussions centered around the Smart City initiative, which is a critical part of Jammu’s urban development strategy, as well as other significant city projects aimed at enhancing the infrastructure and overall quality of life in the region.
During the meeting, Dr Sanjay Bansal emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach between the municipal authorities and the business community to ensure the successful implementation of these projects. He highlighted the potential of the Smart City initiative to transform Jammu into a modern, sustainable, and economically vibrant city. The FTII delegation shared insights and suggestions on how the business community can contribute to these developments, ensuring that the projects are both effective and inclusive.
Dr Devansh Yadav, in turn, acknowledged the significant role that FTII plays in fostering economic growth and supporting the local business community. He also inquired about the recent FTII Global Conference, which was held at the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi.
The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to work closely together to address the challenges and opportunities facing Jammu. Both parties agreed that continued dialogue and cooperation between the municipal administration and the business community are essential for the successful realization of Jammu’s development goals.
