FTII holds ‘Vayapari Samman Sammelan’ in Jammu

JAMMU, Jan 21: Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) organized a programme ‘Vayapari Samman Sammelan’ for the business community in Jammu here today.
Around 400 businessmen belonging to various sectors of trade and industry across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the event. Sunil Singhi, Chairman of the National Traders Welfare Board (NTWB), Government of India was chief guest and Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament (MP) was guest of honour on this occasion. The other dignitaries present were ADGP, Anand Jain, Chander Mohan Gupta, and former Mayor Jammu, Romesh Khajuria Chairman of the Wool and Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Ministry of Textile, Government of India.
During the welcome address, Dr Sanjay Bansal, Member National Trader Welfare Board, Government of India and National President FTII applauded the present Government and PM Modi for forming NTWB for the welfare of trade and industry.
Sunil Singhi expressed gratitude for the FTII’s efforts in uniting all trade and industry sectors under a single umbrella. According to him, by doing this, they will be able to both identify and resolve the issues facing the business community.
Additionally, Jugal Kishore Sharma MP highlighted the central Government’s initiatives, policies, and efforts to provide a conducive atmosphere for the efficient conduct of business. Similarly, other dignitaries also while highlighting various initiatives of the Government stressed upon the need for a conducive environment for the business community to flourish.
