JAMMU, Aug 5: Federation of Trade and Industry of India (FTII) president, Sanjay Bansal called on Harsh Malhotra, Minister of State Corporate Affairs, Road Transport and Highways and held discussion on the issues pertaining to trade and corporate affairs.
During the meeting Bansal brought to the fore various issues of paramount importance to the industry and the general public, emphasizing the need for accountability and reforms to address discrepancies and improve overall governance.
Key issues discussed during the meeting included the enhancement of regulatory frameworks, infrastructure development, and the need for innovative solutions to modernize road transport and highways. Dr Bansal highlighted the industry’s concerns over bureaucratic delays and the necessity for swift, transparent processes to facilitate growth and efficiency.
Malhotra underscored the Government’s commitment to maintaining integrity and responsiveness at all administrative levels. He assured Bansal of the Ministry’s dedication to fostering a collaborative environment where industry feedback is sought to take policy decisions.
