* Unemployed youth battling to get jobs: Hari Singh

JAMMU, Sept 22: Former minister and senior Congress leader, Mula Ram urged upon the Governor to fill the 50,000 posts in the Jammu and Kashmir State announced by him so that the unemployment crisis faced by the youth would be resolved.
Addressing a public meeting held today at Raipur Domana Assembly segment, organised by Hari Singh Chib, president DCC Rural, the former minister said that youth is affected by the rising unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir. He accused the previous regime of BJP for its failure to provide jobs to the educated youth. He alleged that the previous `alliance government’ had promoted corruption and nepotism in the State.
Mula Ram said that previous regime of BJP has totally failed to address the problems of the people of the State. “BJP has failed to address the problems and the miseries of the people of Jammu and Kashmir have increased manifolds,” he added.
Hari Singh Chib, in his address, lashed out at BJP and said that as result of BJPs decisive politics, the clouds of uncertainty were hovering over the skies across the India where unemployed youths are battling hard to get jobs while at the same time, the farmers are struggling hard to get suitable price to their crops. He appealed to the Governor to give more than 20 per cent of prices to the farmers for paddy so that they would not feel any inconvenience.
Mr Chib also raised serious concern over the dilapidated condition of roads of several areas falling under the Jammu Municipal Corporation as well as the rural areas. He urged the Governor to take stock of the problems being related to their basic amenities in the State.
He said that Congress is guarantee to peace, communal harmony and brotherhood where all sections of the society find solace under its shelter.
Uday Chib, president J&K Pradesh Youth Congress said that the youth who terms to be the ‘Nation builder’ are presently on roads due to the hollow policies of the BJP led Government at the Centre. Chib promised to empower the youth in the State so as to take J&K on the path of growth and development. He also rued over the dilapidated condition of Janipur –Garota Road in which the commuters have been facing problems.
