JAMMU, May 24: Directorate of Tourism Jammu in association with ‘Burn a Tonn’ Unisex Fitness Club and ‘98.3 Mirchi’ are presenting women fun run ‘Mirchi Gang of Girls’ under the theme ‘She Runs This Town’.
A handout stated that the run will be flagged off from Mubarak Mandi complex and it will go all the way to Sidhra Golf Course on May 26 at 5:30 am.
The event is also supported by JK Police.
Mirchi Shwetima, Mirchi Nikki and Mirchi Nishant from 98.3 Mirchi will be hosting the fun run.
Providing full support to the cause, Mulkh Raj Ashok Kumar Jewellers have co-powered this event. The associate sponsors for the event are Studio Page 3 Salon. Garden Estate has extended their hands as the Food and Hospitality partners. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Super Speciality Hospital is also extending their support as the health partner.
The theme was conceived by ‘Burn a Tonn’ in their attempt to encourage the women to step out of their homes and enjoy every moment of the run. ‘Gang of Girls’ is also about all the girls and women in the city uniting and sprinting together in support of every female out there who has been burdened by gender stereotypes.
Apart from the run, there’ll be other fun activities including F-squad session by a team that’ll be coming all the way from Pune and fun interaction by Mirchi Shwetima, Mirchi Nikki and Mirchi Nishant to make the participants groove to a hardcore fitness routine.
