JAMMU, Apr 9: To mark the release of the religio philosophical volume titled “Amar Chha Maraan”, Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust organized a function at the Ashram at Udaiwala, Bohri, Jammu.
The inaugural function was presided over by Prof AN Dhar, while Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu was the chief guest.
The volume was released by Prof Ashok Aima, who while speaking said such religious books help the society in keeping calm and devoting time to learn about the great spiritualism of Kashmir.
Pradeep Kaul and Prof PN Trisal presented reviews on the volume titled “Amar Chha Maraan”. They delivered lucid and thought provoking lectures on the contents of the book written by various authors on the subject mentioned. They said the volume will go a long way in helping the earnest seekers of truth. They dwelt at length on the nectarian words uttered by Bhagawaan Gopinathji during his life-time.
President of the Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust spoke at length on the message and teachings of the Bhagawaan. She threw light on phenomenal growth of the Trust right from its inception since 1968. She highlighted the efforts made by the Trustees in achieving the aims and objectives of the Trust enshrined in Trust constitution.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by MK Tikoo, while vote of thanks was presented by the Vice-President of the Trust.
The function was followed by a festival of Kashmiri Pandit Community–Zangtrai, in which ladies participated and paid obeisance at the lotus feet of the Master.
The artists of repute presented melodious devotional songs on the occasion.
Dr Sushil Kumar Wattal conducted the proceedings of the programme. As a ritual, SK Turki and Shadi Lal Ganjoo distributed small packet of salt and Rs 5 each among the ladies as a token of love and prasad from Bhagawaanji.
The book was also released at the Trust Ashrams at Kharyar, Srinagar, Kashmir, Greater Kailash-I, Pamposh Enclave, New Delhi, Vikaspuri, New Delhi and Pune Maharashtra. Zangtrai was also celebrated in the Trust Ashrams.
