RAMBAN, Nov 27: Taking strong note on misbehaving act with GRS Bittu Kumar posted in Block Thakrie of Kishtwar by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, All Field Functionaries RDD Association (AFFRDDA) Ramban today held a protest in front of Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) office, here today.
While talking to media persons, Public Secretary MGNREGA Association Ramban Shakeel-ul-Rehman condemned the misbehaving act of DC Kishtwar with their colleague and called upon the Government to take stern action against the DC Kishtwar beside also demanded an unconditional apology to GRS who was humiliated by the DC during public meeting.
He further said that DC Kishtwar should take his words back for his immaturity added that the incident is unfortunate.
He informed that due to lack of unemployment, several youth hailing from high profile families opted for nominal jobs.
He added that they have made an appeal to Chief Minister and RDD Minister Abdul Haq Khan to take note of arrogant behaviour of DC Kishtwar and if DC Kishtwar did not apologize, they will come on the road and will call a State level strike.
In this regard All Field Functionaries RDD Association under the chairmanship of MGNREGA Employees Association District President Ashaf Ahmed went on two days pen down strike from today.
The protesters took strong note of the video involving DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana and GRS Bittu Kumar that surface on the social media yesterday wherein DC Kishtwar humiliated the MGNREGA staff member during a public meeting at village Thakrie.
Parvaiz Ahmed Bhatt Secretary Panchayat said that DC Kishtwar was clearly visible to undress the GRS Bittu Kumar and passed derogatory remarks against the said employee without listening to his point of view.
