Future of youth lies in NC: Kamaal

SRINAGAR, Dec 3: Alleging that their future lies in National Conference (NC), Senior NC leader and party’s candidate from Gulmarg- 14 Assembly segment, Dr Mustafa Kamaal today appealed the youth to unite under the National Conference banner.
Addressing election rallies at Kathipora, Hardashoora, Bona Shoora, Hirapora, Beawa, Chak Charatram, Uchlipora, Kralweth, Malapora, Mullagam, Rumbail, Panditpora and Mirchipora, Kamaal appealed the youth who were present in large numbers in these meetings that they should unite under National Conference and strengthen the party, as their future lies in the party.
He said, “It is NC only which has safeguarded their interests and aspirations and will ensure that the burning problems of educated unemployed will be addressed speedily. Schemes like SKEWPY, Udaan, Himayat and skill development will be strengthened and other avenues like tourism, forests and wild life shall be explored so that gainful and honourable employment can be provided to them.”
Addressing the non -Muslims families of Sikhs and Pandits in Beawa and Chak-Charat he assured that NC has always cherished the values of interfaith harmony, secularism and that it is part of the faith of the Muslim to protect the life and property of non -Muslims. Dr Mustafa complimented the Muslims for giving them the much needed sense of security and safety in the most difficult times.
Dr Kamaal also complimented these non-Muslims families for not falling prey to Jag Mohan, the then Governor, J&K, who engineered exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 fully aided and abetted by then Union Home Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for their anterior motives and appealed to the migrant Pandits to comes back to their home and hearth and not to play in the hands of a few vested interests among them who are making hay and misleading Delhi while they suffer in relief camps.
