JAMMU, May 15: Delegations from various districts of Jammu division of Health and Family Welfare employees conducted a meeting at Directorate Family Welfare Office Nagrota and raised the issue of permanent solution of their salary, today.
They urged the LG administration to solve their salary issue which is not a big one. They said, “Family welfare employees are working under a reimbursement scheme, while expenditure made on the salaries is reimbursed by the Govt. of India on a regular basis on the submission of utilization certificates,” they said.
They alleged that the family welfare employees are without salaries since November 2022 and asked the UT administration to solve their salary issue permanently by allocating Rs 200 crores for the salaries.
The employees said that after abrogation of Article 370, the issue has been resolved in the UT of Ladakh but the employees’ salary issue of UT of J&K is still unresolved, they said.
