JAMMU, June 20: The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) today felicitated Music Legend Pandit Bhajan Sopori and Maestro Abhay Rustum Sopori in Mumbai for their contributions to Indian music.
The function was attended by a large number of members of the Federation as well as various other unions including Gangeshwarlal Shrivastav, B.N Tiwari, Ashok Dubey, Rakesh Maurya and others.
A handout stated that FWICE is considered as a mother body of all the unions of the members of Indian cinema, which looks after the welfare of all the workers, technicians, artists, musicians, directors, cinematographers etc.
FWICE acknowledged the contributions of father-son duo and felicitated them with bouquets and traditional Angvastra.
Pt. Bhajan Sopori praised the efforts of the Federation and its members in working tirelessly to safeguard the interests of the film fraternity and look after their concerns.
On this occasion renowned personality Dr. Yogesh Dubey was honoured by the Federation for his deep concern towards it’s over five lakh members and taking their issues to the national level.
