JAMMU, Oct 28: The State Government has issued directives to all the administrative secretaries to issue instructions to their subordinate departments not to approach the Election Commission of India (ECI) or Chief Electoral Officer, J&K directly on their own to seek any clarification regarding the Model Code of Conduct which has been enforced in the State after the declaration of Assembly elections.
The directives were issued by General Administrative Department today to all administrative secretaries. The Administrative secretaries have been directed to issue instructions to the subordinate departments that they should seek clarification regarding Model Code of Conduct through concerned Administrative Department only.
