JAMMU, Mar 25: J&K National Trade Union Front (JKNTUF) re-elected Mohammad Gafoor Dar its president for a period of four years.
He was elected for the post unanimously by the delegates during 5th State level conference held at Auditorium hall, Boys Polytechnic, Bikram Chowk, Jammu.
Later, the State president, as per the decision of the conference, constituted central body of JKNTUF, which comprises of Rajinder Kumar as senior vice president, Akhil Sharma as vice president, Haji Parvez Iqbal as advisor, Nazir Ahmed Molvi as general secretary, Naresh Sharma as secretary, Afshan and Jabin Akhter as joint secretaries, Karan Singh as finance secretary, Sangeet Parihar as publicity secretary, Haji Jahangir Ahmed as chief organizer and Veena Devi as well as Vijay Choudhary as organizers.
Besides this, Piran Ditta was appointed as district president for Jammu, Barkat Ali as district president for Doda, Asif Iqbal Mir as district president for Rajouri, Mohd Rafiq Malik as district president for Poonch, Updesh Singh as district president for Kathua and Rafiq Bhat as district president for Kishtwar.
It was also decided in the conference that all district heads and other heads of the union will be members of the State working committee.
