JAMMU, Mar 5: Khurshid Ahmad Ganai, Advisor to Governor, met Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here today and briefed him about certain important matters in respect of the departments under his charge.
The Governor and Mr. Ganai also reviewed progress in regard to plantation of high density apple crops, the ongoing dredging works on river Jhelum and certain issues relating to extension of water supply schemes in the rural areas.
The Governor asked Mr. Ganai to take all necessary measures for Governmental work receiving timely attention and to particularly ensure transparent functioning in all arenas.
Advocate D. C Raina, who recently took over as Advocate General also met Governor.
Adv. Raina briefed the Governor about the status of various legal matters and cases in courts which relate to the J&K Government.
