JAMMU, Oct 9: Former Member Legislative Council (MLC) and secretary Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) JKUT, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, has said that Gandhi Nagar would be developed as model constituency of Jammu and Kashmir and he is sincerely working on it. He said this while kick-starting black-topping of Lower Karan Nagar Bagh road today.
Randhawa said that the slogan given by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas’ would be implemented in letter and spirit. He said that the Union Government has already accelerated the pace of development in Jammu and Kashmir following which many mega projects had already been executed.
He further said that BJP would ensure that Jammuites would sooner say proudly that they are residents of a ‘Smart City’. “The BJP led Government is committed to develop Jammu at par with other cities of the nation which had earlier been ignored by the previous Governments”, Randhawa said.
