CHANDIGARH: Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Parkash Ganga today attended annual day function of J&K Dogra Sabha in Chandigarh as Chief Guest at JK House here today.
Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Chander Parkash Ganga congratulated the members of the Sabha for organizing the colorful programme depicting rich culture of Jammu.
The Minister also gave assurance of his cooperation to the Dogra community of Tricity to fulfill their genuine demands like allotment of plot for construction Dogra Sarai (Inn) at Chandigarh for the people of Jammu and Kashmir who visit Chandigarh for treatment at PGI, educational and other pursuits.
Earlier, in his welcome address, Naseeb Singh Manhas renowned Dogri Poet, Vice President of the Sabha and Director Doordarshan Chandigarh highlighted the contribution and achievements of the J&K Dogra Sabha.
On the occasion, prominent members of Dogra community were presented the mementos by the chief guest for their outstanding service to the Dogra community at Chandigarh.
