SAMBA, Dec 7: Member of Legislative Assembly, Vijaypur, Chander Parkash Ganga along with BMO Purmandal and Health Department officials flagged off 100 days TB-Mukt Abhiyaan here at Sarore.
The Abhiyaan will cover each and every village of the block Purmandal. The Department will provide free X-Ray and TB test of people above the age of 60 and treat accordingly. This campaign will create awareness among general masses to counter and eliminate deadly disease like Tuberculosis.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Vijaypur, Chander Parkash Ganga said,”Prime Minister is keen to improve quality of life among countrymen and has taken revolutionary steps like Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna to ensure even the last man standing in queue gets the quality treatment to whatever ailment they suffer from. Only a person from humble background can understand this need to provide free health services to the poorer”
“This 100 days TB-Mukt Abhiyaan is one such step in that direction and I am sure that it will create an effective awareness among individual. We will assist the health officials in whatever capacity they ask through our organization in Panchayat level” added Ganga.
