JAMMU, Feb 12: Mount Litera Zee School, the fastest growing chain of K-12 schools in India under the aegis of A.P. Educational Trust today inaugurated its 100th branch at Tarore Bridge, Jammu-Samba Highway.
Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister for Industries and Commerce, J&K was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Sunil Kumar Sharma, Minister of State for Transport (Independent Charge) and Sports presided over the function, while Firdous Ahmed Tak, MLC was the Guest of Honour.
Also present on the occasion were Sheetal Nanda, Deputy Commissioner-Samba, AQ Manhas, IGP (Retd), R.K.Dhar- SSP (ACS), Dr. Minakshi Kilam-Director Quality Assurance Cell, JU, Dr. Charnagoo, and others.
The Chief Guest inaugurated the school complex and visited the entire campus along with the Guests and Management.
The function started with National Anthem followed by presentation of bouquets to the guests.
AK Kapoor, Chairman MLZS presented the welcome address. He said that the school has come up with the best infra-structure, trained faculty by the Zee Learn Company and excellent content and reading material to provide quality education to the students enrolled in the school. Mukesh Sheelat, RSD gave the brief report about the school and its pedagogy to the audience.
Various cultural items were also presented by the students. Ganesh Vandana, Dogri Dance and Naari Shakti which were applauded by the guests and the audience.
Speaking on the occasion, Chander Prakash Ganga appreciated the role of the school management for bringing the world class campus and educational facilities to the area which would achieve the goal of delivering good quality education to every child of the city.
Sunil Kumar Sharma said that student community is the strength of the society and if the students are guided, taught and streamlined properly then we can think of having the better nation.
Firdous Tak applauded the role of A P Educational Trust for their remarkable journey in the field of education.
Rahul Kapoor, Director of the school presented the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
