Ganga inaugurates development works

SAMBA, Mar 24: Former Minister and Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijaypur Chander Prakash Ganga inaugurated construction work of lanes, drain and flood protection at village Sangwal in Tehsil Vijaypur.
MLA also distributed Rs 4.2 lakh among 35 beneficiaries for construction of individual household latrine units at Sangwal.
While speaking, he said the State administration is committed to create better infrastructural facilities in every nook and corner of the State under a well-knit development programme. He also referred to the recent innovative measures announced by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi which envisage holistic development of all regions and all important public sectors.
He added that within next couple of years the State would witness hub of developmental activities and there would be total transformation of Jammu and Kashmir on development point of view.
Referring to various initiatives being taken up by the Central Government for steering J&K towards new highs of progress and prosperity, MLA said that though formulating and implementing development programmes is the job of administrations but the role of common people plays a crucial role in this regard.
He appealed the people to actively participate in all development activities being carried out in their respective areas so that the real purpose of launching such programmes could be met.
