Ganga, Keshav kick start work of overhead tank at Patli

SAMBA, Mar 29: Former Minister Chander Parkash Ganga along with DDC Chairman Keshav Sharma kick started construction work of overhead tank worth RS two crore and seven lakh.
The over head tank will provide drinkable water to the inhabitants of Panchayat Patli under Narendra Modi Government’s mission “Har Ghar Jal”.
Speaking on the occasion Ganga highlighted the developmental programmes of Narendra Modi Government and said that Prime Minister is committed to built a new Jammu and Kashmir of people’s dreams.
He said in this regard many steps were taken since the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019 and development has taken pace in the UT. He alleged that the previous Governments had ignored the J&K in the development sphere with the result the unemployment has increased in the UT.
Ganga said that due to lack of setting up of industries and other developmental projects in the UT the youth have no option except looking for Government jobs and it is not possible for any dispensation to provide Government jobs to the people with the result the youth are desperation. However with the introduction of skill development and other schemes this issue will be settled as ample job opportunities will be created in the UT, he added.
DDC chairman, Keshav Sharma also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the various policies and programmes of Modi Government.
Other present were Sarpanch Panchayat Patli Mohini Sharma, State Executive Member BJP, Jairam Sharma, Panch Dwarka Nath, Panch Kamlesh Kumari, Panch Aruna Devi etc.
