SAMBA, Nov 7: Former Minister and senior BJP leader, Chander Parkash Ganga today kick started blacktopping of Rs 35 lakh road from Panchayat Mararay Chak to Lower Kartholi.
Speaking on the occasion, Ganga said this way a long pending demand of the people of the area was fulfilled. He said the people were facing lot of problems after travelling through muddy road in the area. The function, besides Ganga was attended by District Development Committee (DDC) member, Bari Brahmana , Asha Rani, DDC, member, Bishnah , Dharminder Kumar, block chairman, Bishnah, Surjit Kumar, Sarpanch Lower Kartholi, Angrez Singh, Sarpanch, Upper Kartholi, Tarseem Singh, senior BJP leaders Jai Ram Sharma, vice president, ST Morcha, Shabir Ahmed, Mandal president, Utresh Dutta, general secretary, Mandal, Arjun Sharma and other party members.
Ganga said that J&K is on the path of development and progress since August 5, 2019 when the Articles 370 and 35-A was annulled by Narendra Modi Government. He highlighted various projects launched in the J&K UT by BJP led Government at Delhi and said that these projects will prove a game changer for the UT.
Ganga took a dig at previous governments for ignoring the Jammu region in development for last 70 years and said a new ray of hope has emerged among the people of this region after the annulling of Articles 370 and 35-A.
He said BJP is committed to equitable development of both the regions of J&K UT.
