SAMBA, June 8: In order to mitigate the problems of Abtal, Chhowani, Pardi and Dug Chhanni villagers who were waiting for good road connectivity since many years, Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga today started the blacktopping work of road from village Abtal to Baba Chamlyal via Dug Chhanni in border area of Ramgarh Sector.
Around 8 kilometers of this road would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs 2.80 crores and the work will be executed by R&B Department.
On the occasion DDC Samba Sheetal Nanda along with other district and sectoral officers were present.
Peoples from adjoining villages also meet with Minister and projected their problems to which the Minister assured timely redressal.
Ganga also reviewed the arrangements for the annual mela at Baba Chamlyal which would be held on June 22. Minister appealed to common masses to participate in this annual mela in large number.
