SAMBA, June 8:  Former Minister and Ex MLA, Vijaypur, Chander Prakash Ganga today launched blacktopping work on 2.25 km road from Link road Swankha Morh to Village Rara.
Being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs.85 Lacs under languishing , the road was a long pending demand of locals which has been fulfilled due to the efforts of former Minister.
Ganga, while addressing the media persons, said that sticking to its agenda of creating durable assets under all development sectors, Modi Government has succeeded in expanding a firm road network in most of the parts of the country. He said that numerous schemes have been launched by the Center and the State Government to empower the people of Jammu and Kashmir socially, economically and politically. He credited the people’s cooperation also in getting the desired and targeted outcome of several welfare and development programmes launched for larger interest of the society.
Ganga, while elaborating on development works in the area, said that the Government is raising better basic amenities in these border areas so that the people get equal opportunities of progress and prosperity.
Among others present  on the occasion were Subash Chander Sarpanch Dabuj Shahzada, Amit Dubey BJP Leader,  Banarsi Lal Dubey, Parveen Kapoor, Panch Mohan Lal, Naresh Kumari, Rampaul Sharma, Ashok Kumar and others.
