JAMMU, Aug 22: A meeting of Ganga Nagar Welfare Committee (GNWC) was held here today near Bantalab wherein the chief guest was Anita Sharma wife of Subash Sharma, Municipal Councillor of Ward No. 65.
Other officials of Jammu Municipal Corporation were also present in the meeting where many issues of the area were discussed.
Speakers in the meeting demanded construction and repairing of lanes and drains, insulated cable power connections to every house to stop theft of electricity and proper supply of water.
After the meeting the chief guest inspected the lanes and drains of the area and assured to complete the construction work within a timeframe.
She also gave assurance to provide the insulated cable connections for power supply in the area without wasting time.
GNWC president, Madan Lal; Chairman, Nirmal Singh Jamwal; Chief Advisor, Neelam Singh; Vice-President, Gopal Krishan; State Secretary, Ajay; Media Secretary, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal and Cashier, Khushi Ram; Mohinder Singh, Inder Singh, Sunny, Dhanni Ram, Bishan Puri, Devender Singh Jamwal, Vijay Kumar, Ashish Singh, Sohan Lal and Sham Lal were also present in the meeting.
