Ganga pays tributes to Brig Rajinder Singh

SAMBA, Oct 27 : To pay homage to Brigadier Rajinder Singh on his 68th Martyrs Day, a function was organized at his native village Bagoona by Brigadier Rajinder Singh Memorial Committee.
On the occasion, the Minister for Industries & Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga paid floral tributes to Brigadier Rajinder Singh and while recalling his bravery and supreme sacrifices exhorted upon the youth to follow the footsteps of Brigadier Rajinder Singh.
The Minister said that Brigadier Rajinder Singh was a brave soldier who stopped the raiders from Pakistan to enter the territory of Jammu and Kashmir saving the lives of the people.
The Minister appealed the youth to put in hard efforts and remain away from social evils adding that youth have a vital role in shaping the future of the nation.
Sarpanch Bagoona Brijpal Singh apprised the Minister about the problems of the residents of the area which included poor road connectivity, up gradation of high school & dispensary, requirement of tubewell and renovation of Brigadier Rajinder Singh Memorial Park.
Ganga assured the people that the double lane road from 17 Miles to Bagoona  has been sanctioned and other issues will be redressed soon.
