Ganga, Salathia kick start construction work of link road from Sangar to Kathar

SAMBA, Mar 8: MLA Vijaypur Chander Parkash Ganga along with MLA Samba Surjit Singh Salathia today kick started the construction work of link road which connects village Sangar of panchayat Purmandal of Vijaypur Assembly constituency to village Kathar of Samba Assembly constituency.
The project is being executed under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) with a cost around Rs 6 cr. The project will cover around 5 km of length.
Speaking on the occasion Ganga said, “These far flung areas are now being taken on priority and you will see the change in next 5 years with the development is going to be par with rest of the areas of district Samba.”
MLA Salathia congratulated the people of Sangar and Kathar and said that we will work together to uplift the marginal and improve the basic livelihood of the people.
Both MLA gave credit to PM Modi for opening up treasury for these far flung areas
Among others who were present included Jai Ram Sharma, Sarpanch Joginder Sharma, Sarpanch Puran Sharma, Sarpanch Anil Sharma, Surinder Singh, Govind Lal Sharma, Gopal Sharma, Shiv Deep Vaid, Ankush Sharma and Ganga Ram.
