Ganga takes stock of people’s issues

SAMBA, June 12: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today kick started the blacktopping of link road from Barjani to Meen Charkan.
The work has been taken up by PWD at an estimated cost of Rs 60 lakh having a length of 2 km.
On the occasion, the people apprised the Minister about their issues related to power and water supply, telecom, education, healthcare, old age pension and road connectivity. The Minister assured them that their demands would be redressed in time bound manner.
He said that Government is making concerted efforts to provide better amenities to the people and for that efforts are afoot to upgrade existing infrastructure in PDF, PHE, Health, Education, road connectivity and other sectors.
“Narendra Modi led Government in Centre is working for the welfare of the people and special stress is being laid on the empowerment of women and providing employment opportunities to youth, he added.
