Ganga tours border areas

SAMBA Mar 7: Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga visited various villages of border areas of Vijaypur Constituency in Samba district viz. Chak Balotra, Maharajpur, Chouni, Dag Chani, Pardi, Jerda, Khokharchak, Jerada, Nandpur etc. and interacted with the people of these areas.
He assured them of every possible help especially to the poor and deprived people living in the border areas.
The Minister said that for the upliftment of the status of the women especially in the rural areas, the handloom and handicraft sector play an important role.
He assured the people to provide all possible help to restart these activities in the rural areas so that women besides doing their house hold jobs also contributing in economic activities so that to raise the status of their family socially and economically.
He also stressed for the growth of Industrial Sector in the State so that large number of unemployed youth get jobs in these industries.
He impressed upon the officers to work with zeal and dedication and aware the masses about various Centrally and State sponsored schemes so that benefits of these schemes reaches to the needy and downtrodden Section of the society.
While addressing the gathering minister assured the people of these areas every possible support and further assured of transparent and accountable atmosphere in the district.
People of these border areas also apprised him of various problems being faced by them. Minister patiently heard the problems being faced by these peoples and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed at the earliest.
Among others Tehsildar Ramgarh Kunal Sharma, X-En PDD, Sarpanchs, Panchs , Prominent citizens and large number of people present on the occasions.
