NEW DELHI: Former India captain Sourav Ganguly has questioned the inclusion of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma’s in the first Test against South Africa, which the hosts won by 72 runs. Both the batters had failed to fire in the Test. While Dhawan managed to score 16, 16 in two innings, Rohit could only gather 11 and 10 runs. “History of Rohit Sharma and history of Shikhar Dhawan in overseas conditions are not very good. You look at their records, it’s like chalk and cheese when they go away and when they are in India. So you are basically depending on Murali Vijay and Virat Kohli as the two best performers in overseas conditions,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by India Today. (AGENCIES)
