New Delhi, Jan 14: In the recently held General Body meeting of Honorary Consular Corps. Diplomatique – India (HCCD-I) K.L. Ganju, o.c.v.c. (Cdr.), Consul General (Hy.) and Advisor to the Foreign Minister, Union of Comoros was unanimously elected President of the Corps for a term of three years.
He has taken over the Presidency from Vivek Burman, Hony. Consul General of Nicaragua in India and Former Chairman of Dabur India Ltd.
The General Body meeting was followed by a get-together in which Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of State (Independent charge), for Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India and akir Özkan Torunlar, Ambassador of Turkey in India were present as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively.
The event was attended by High Commissioners, Ambassadors, Ministry of External Affairs officials and Consuls from all over India. Apart from this so many celebrities were also present.
