Gaurav Samman for Kaul

New Delhi, Dec 25 : Dalip K.Kaul, a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was awarded “Gaurav Samman” by the Kashmiri Samiti here today. It was yet another feather in the cap of the young professional.The award was given to Kaul in the presence of a galaxy of community leaders,including Vijay Raina,Ramesh Razdan,Ramesh Raina and Dr. L.N.Dhar.
Mr Kaul has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honours) and Law from the University of Delhi. He also has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance)and has specialised in Merchant Banking, Risk Management, Treasury and International Finance.
He is currently a prominent Practising Chartered Accountant having an experience of over 31 years across audit, tax, risk, assurance and advisory.
He is on the Board of Directors of J&K Bank as an Independent Director. Presently, he is also a Member of Executive Committee of J&K Branch of NIRC of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) . He was the Chairman of J&K Branch of NIRC of ICAI for the year 2013-2014.
Mr. Kaul was also Special Invitee Member -Committee on Banking, Insurance & Pension of ICAI .He is also Member- Kashmir Education Cultural & Science Society, New Delhi. He was Member – (Finance Committee) Sports & Cultural Club, Noida and Chairman – Commerce Advisory Board, S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, University of Delhi during graduation days.
He was the youngest Vice President of Kashmiri Samiti, Delhi in 1989-1990 under the presidentship of C.L Gaddoo. Prior to this, he was actively involved with Kashmiri Samiti, Delhi for several years as Executive Member of the Samiti. During his tenure he was instrumental in organising the’ First International Conference on Kashmir Crisis which was presided by Former President of India Late Shri Giani Zail Singh Ji. He also remained at the fore front for raising funds for the Samiti at the time of exodus.
Samiti leaders appreciated the role played by Mr Kaul in mitigating problems of the community members in exile.
While thanking the Samiti for having selected him for Gaurav Samman Mr Kaul assured the members of the Samiti that he would be always ready and willing to work for the betterment of the lot of people in distress.
