JAMMU, Apr 19: The Gujjar-Bakarwal Students Union (GBSU) of University of Jammu (JU) has urged upon the Department of Tribal Affairs to release scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 as the delay is causing financial stress on tribal students.
A handout of GBSU stated that tribal students of the University are facing difficulties in paying their tuition fees and in meeting their daily expenses due to the delay in release of scholarships and they have approached the Union for help.
The Union expressed hopefulness that the Department of Tribal Affairs will consider their request and will take necessary actions to release the scholarships at the earliest.
