JAMMU, Oct 11: Women Development Cell of the Government College of Education, Canal Road, Jammu organised Mehandi and `Rangoli’ competition on the occasion of Karva Chauth in the college premises here today.
The students enthusiastically displayed their creative talent by making intricate designs of both Mehandi and `Rangoli’.
Principal of the college, Dr Ajeet Angral, who was the chief guest, appreciated Cell members for organising this event.
Dr Raj Singh, Dr Rupinder Kour and Dr Sindhu Kapoor, were the judges appointed on the event. Convenor of the Cell, Dr Jyoti Parihar applauded the students for their active participation. Prof Rubeena presented the welcome address and Dr Rajinder Kour, the vote of thanks.
