GCET organises lectures, interactive sessions

JAMMU, Jan 23: Government College and Engineering and Technology (GCET) Jammu organised lectures and interactive sessions.
Dr Anita Brar, Coordinator for Student Induction Program presented inaugural address wherein she highlighted the purpose of conducting this programme.
Dr Sameru Sharma, Principal GCET, while speaking on the occasion encouraged the students to participate in various activities that are conducted in the institution from time to time to instill the humanistic values, philanthropic spirits and overall nurturing of good instinct.
Several questions and queries were raised by the students during interactive session and were answered amicably by experts and eminent speakers from reputed institutes and companies across the country.
The experts and eminent speakers were ID Soni Former Deputy Director School Education Department, Prof Amit Paul Associate Professor, MAM PG College, Dr Nancy Handoo Former Associate Professor, NIT, Srinagar, Dr Manjushri Sharma Assistant Professor in UIAMS, PU, Chandigarh, Rachita Sambyal Assistant Professor in UIAMS, PU, Chandigarh, Arush Mahajan CEO of via ENS INRDeals, Saleem Khan STD NIC J&K UT, Dr Qazi Naveed Ahmed Principal Scientist, IIIM Jammu, Er Pankaj Sharma, Dr Meenakshi Dutt Sudan Administrator Sudan Heart Care Centre, Jammu, Dr Rahul Kait Senior Assistant Prof GGM Science College, Dr Veena Rani, Dr Ajay Abrol, Er Neeraj Dubey and Dr Romika Sudan.
The programme was attended by around 300 students.
The organizing team comprised of Dr Dina Nath, Dr Raman Gupta, Er Malkyat Singh, Om Jyoti, Er Munish, Rahul Raina and Er Nitigya Sambyal.
The valedictory address was given by Dr Anita Brar, coordinator of the programme. Dr. Romika Sudan read out the report whereas Dr Neerupama presented formal vote of thanks.
