GCET students protest for supplementary system

JAMMU, Oct 19:  Continuing their stir for supplementary system and demand of certain facilities on the campus, GCET students held a strong protest on Monday.
The protest was organized under the banner of NSUI while its State president Neeraj Kundan as well as National Delegate Ajay Kumar led the students. Shouting slogans in support of their demands, the protesting NSUI activists took out a rally from GCET campus and marched towards Exhibition Ground in Jammu City.
The protesting students were demanding complete restoration of supplementary system from 1st to 8th semester, availability of Ambulance & Healthcare on the GCET campus, comprehensive Placement, uninterrupted Power supply, permanent ground, Gym & Fitness facilities, functional library, etc.
Alleging mental torture by the college administration, the protesting students also threatened to approach the State Human Rights Commission.
The protesting students were addressed by Mir Mujeeb, Zakir Malik, Vishal Choudhary and others.
