JAMMU, Apr 27: Government P G College for Women, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, organized Alumni Meet-2019, here today, which was attended by ex students of the college from different batches spread over last so many decades.
A colorful cultural programme was presented in the honour of the alumni. On the occasion, the alumni organizing body was also elected following a due democratic procedure. Among the office bearers were Advocate Radha Sharma Jasrotia, Prof Satinder Kour, Sakshi Sabharwal, Prof Sania Hamid and Prof Malti Rajput holding the position of president, general secretary, secretary, joint secretary and treasurer respectively.
Prof Kaushal Samotra, Prof Jugal Kishore, Prof Suman Charak and Prof Sujata Salathia were requested to be the members of the advisory board of the Alumni body.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college Dr Kaushal Samotra, who happens to be the aluminous of the college as well, welcomed the gathering and said the college gates are always open for its students for any help, whenever.
