JAMMU, Feb 3: The Punjabi Department of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt. PG College for Women, Gandhi Nagar Jammu organised a Punjabi cultural bonanza.
Bollywood singer Vijay Yamla, the grandson of Late Ustad Lal Chand Yamla Jatt and his team graced the occasion and enthralled the audience with traditional Punjabi folk music complemented with traditional musical instruments of Punjab. The students and the staff were mesmerized by this performance which reminded everyone of antique golden era.
Prof Minu Mahajan, Principal of the College applauded the initiative taken by Dr Kusum, Head Dept of Punjabi and motivated the gathering to have such programmes brimming with fun and joy in future also.
The event concluded with the presentation of memento as souvenir and formal vote of thanks by Dr Kusum.
