BISHNAH, Nov 22: Government Degree College, Bishnah conducted elections for the Presidium under the joint supervision of Dean, Students Welfare, Prof Hardeep Kour and Staff Secretary, Dr Alka Sharma in the presence of Prof Kalpana Kesar, Principal of the College and all HODs.
During the elections, Rakesh Jamwal of BA Part- III was elected as president while Seema Mottan of BA Part-II, Shivalee Khajuria of BA Part-III, Amardeep of BA Part-II and Rohan of BA Part-I were elected as vice-presidents, general secretary, joint secretary and treasurer, respectively.
Nitaksha Sharma of BA Part-III was nominated by the staff as coordinator, Surinder and Tanu of BA Part-III were elected as sports secretary, Pooja and Jasmeet of BA Part-I as cultural secretaries while the post of discipline secretary was shared by Hitesh of BA Part-III and Mukul and Monika Kaith of BA Part-I.
