KATHUA, Oct 19: Govt. Degree College, Kathua here today released its 15th edition of Newsletter ‘RAVI’ for the Session 2021-22.
On this occasion, Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia, Principal of the College was chief guest. The Newsletter was compiled by Editorial Board of the College Newsletter Committee headed by Prof. Rakesh Singh with active support of Committee members Dr. Surya Partap Singh, Dr. Kailash Sharma, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. Sumit Dubey, Prof. Anoop Sharma, Dr. Verinder Singh and Prof. Manmohan Singh.
The event started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest in presence of faculty members Prof. Rakesh Singh, Prof. Jasvinder Singh, Prof. Romilla Guleria, Dr. Seema Malpotra and Prof. Ritu Bhagat. The Sarswati Vandhana was presented by NSS volunteers Monika, Shivangi, Shivani and Natasha.

Prof. Rakesh Singh, Chief Editor and Convener of Newsletter Committee delivered welcome address and expressed gratitude to Principal Secretary Higher Education, Rohit Kansal; Director Colleges, Higher Education, Dr. Yasmeen Ashai and others for Messages for Newsletter.
Prof. Sumanesh Jasrotia urged for wide circulation of the Newsletter.
Prof. Jasvinder Singh, Coordinator IQAC also spoke on the occasion and proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Assistant Professor and vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Surya Partap Singh, Head, Department of Zoology.
