JAMMU, July 25: In an election held at Smart Class Room of GDC Kathua today, Dr. Pankaj Gupta was unanimously elected as staff secretary of the GDC for the session 2023-24.
The election for the post of staff secretary was held under the supervision of the Election Commissioner, Prof. Rakesh Singh and under the overall guidance of senior faculty members Prof. Raj Kiran Sharma and Prof. Jasvinder Singh.
Other office bearers which were proposed unanimously by staff members were Dr. Kailash Sharma, treasurer along with Dr. Rachna Devi and Dr. Verinder Singh, joint secretaries.
Prof. Seema Mir, Principal GDC Kathua congratulated the staff secretary and other office bearers on their unanimous election and hoped that the elected team shall work for the betterment of the College.
