JAMMU, Mar 10: Government Degree College (GDC), R S Pura in collaboration with Gandhi Global Family organized a symposium on the topic, ‘Truth and Non-Violence’, today.
The programme was organized by College organizing committee under the convenership of the Principal, Dr SP Sharma.
The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, Padamshree SP Verma in presence of Dr Ashwani Jojra, SP Sharma, Shiv Kumar Verma and Abdul Majid Bicchoo.
The adjudicators included Prof Sat Paul Bhagat, Dr Deepa Mattoo, Dr Anupma Sharma and Prof Jugal Kishore.
Seventeen students participated in the event and presented their views on ‘Truth and Non-Violence’.
The first, second and third position was secured by Mehar, Karan Singh and Saveet Kour respectively.
Dr Vishal Sharma presented vote of thanks.
